Our program is based on providing a well-balanced, high protein, high fiber, low-calorie meal plan that’s medically-supervised and tailored to your lifestyle. At Step Ahead Wellness Center, we work together to develop individualized meal plans. Are you wondering how many calories you need to eat in a day to lose weight? We determine an appropriate caloric plan based on your metabolic rate and health concerns. We can prescribe nutritional supplements and weight loss medications as needed. We offer intensive nutritional counseling, diet education, and behavior modification with compassion to keep you motivated. There are no gimmicks – just the support and guidance to help you succeed!

DR. DEBORAH NEIMAN
Step Ahead Wellness Center weight loss clinic was started over 15 years ago by Dr. Neiman. She believes that we can help you find the right approach to weight loss and make lifestyle changes to help you lead a healthy and fulfilling life. Dr. Neiman has been active in her local community and professional organizations to promote her weight loss approach to achieve a healthier and happier you! She has been nominated as a Top Doctor by Castle Connolly since 1997. Dr. Neiman received her BS at Barnard College, Columbia University, and her MD degree at New York Medical College. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is associated with many of the Bariatric and Obesity Societies.
CORINNE CHOU, MSN, NP-C
Corinne Chou is a certified Adult Gerontological Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University in Public Health and later a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Seton Hall University. She spent over a decade at the bedside in medical-surgical, step down, and critical care units of the hospital. After obtaining her Masters of Science in Nursing from Rutgers University, School of Nursing, she joined Dr. Neiman at Affiliates in Internal Medicine and soon after on the Step Ahead Wellness team. Corinne was a member of the Obesity Medical Association and completed the Blackburn Course in Obesity Medicine at Harvard University.
